A practical financial education course, aimed at teenagers aged 16 to 19, held in German .

The course helps participants understand how money works, make smart financial decisions, and discover if a future in economics is right for them.

 

Course structure:

1. Personal Finance Basics
   How money works: income, expenses and your budget

2. Smart financial habits
   How to save and organize your money effectively

3. First steps in investing
   Risk vs. profit and how to start investing

4. Credit vs. investors
   The simple difference between loan and equity financing

5. Practical simulation (budget & investments)
   You create your own budget and make decisions like in real life

6. Career in economics
   What jobs are there and if this field suits you?

 

The course runs over 5 weeks, with two sessions per week, each lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes . During the course, participants will work on a project received from the beginning, which they will gradually complete with each notion learned. Completion of the course is conditional on the submission of this project , and following the evaluation, participants will receive a certificate of participation . The group is made up of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 7 participants , to ensure an interactive and personalized environment.
